Two watch brands have developed official timepieces for two of the East Coast’s biggest marathons taking place in November.

TAG Heuer marks its second consecutive year as the Official Timekeeper of the New York City Marathon, which will be held November 1.

For this year’s partnership, the Swiss watch brand introduces the Connected Calibre E5 Running Edition, which builds on TAG Heuer’s Connected Calibre E5, the fifth generation of its luxury smartwatch collection.

The watch is powered by TAG Heuer OS, which tracks 54 sports and records manual laps in real time.

The Running Edition is housed in a 45mm sandblasted titanium case with a polished black ceramic bezel engraved with a non-linear running scale that allows runners to quickly read their distances. A dual-band GPS provides pace and route tracking, while a PPG heart-rate sensor monitors performance. The watch comes with two straps: an ergonomic stretch strap designed for running and a rubber strap for everyday wear.

The special-edition timepiece retails for approximately $2,400.

To mark the 50th year of the 26.2-mile race extending across all five New York City boroughs, TAG Heuer, in partnership with New York Road Runners (NYRR), a nonprofit youth running organization, is unveiling two exclusive digital watch faces for the Connected Calibre E5.

TIMEKEEPING X NYRR features a sleek, minimalist design with orange digital hour, minute and second readouts against a dark textured background, anchored by the New York City Marathon emblem.

TRKR X NYRR features a data-driven dashboard designed for active pacing. It combines a prominent central digital clock with a telemetry-style layout displaying the day, date, step count, calories burned and ambient metrics in orange against a black-and-blue interface. The face also features the NYRR emblem.

TAG Heuer will host weeklong and race-day integrations, including an official countdown clock at the New York City Marathon Expo and branded clocks at the start, along the course and at the finish line.

The New York City Marathon, which began in 1970, now attracts more than 50,000 runners and more than two million spectators. It is considered one of the world’s most prestigious and widely followed marathon races.

Meanwhile, Axia Time has unveiled the Philadelphia Marathon 2026 Enosi as the official timepiece of the Philadelphia Marathon, which will be held November 22. Created with input from runners, the 38mm stainless-steel watch is designed to reflect the style, personalization, gifting and commemorative aspects of the race for competitors and the community that supports them.

The blue dial draws on the marathon’s red, white and blue identity, with the Philadelphia Marathon logo at 12 o’clock. Above the logo is “MARATHON 490BC,” a reference to the traditional story of the first marathon. An “AMERICA250” logo appears at 6 o’clock, marking the Semiquincentennial of the founding of the United States in Philadelphia. “PHILADELPHIA 2026” appears below it. The Liberty Bell is inscribed on the crown.

The watch is powered by a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement.

The caseback is engraved with the 26.2-mile race map and offers personalization options for a runner’s bib number, race time and name. A Greek key pattern encircles the map, connecting the watch to the Greek origins of the marathon and Axia’s heritage.

The watch is completed with a 316L stainless steel bracelet and color-matched rubber strap.

At the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend Expo at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Axia will have an installation themed “Every Second Got You Here.” Visitors can participate in a time-based challenge for prizes and recognize runners and their loved ones through a message wall titled “This Finish Is For…”

The Philadelphia Marathon began with 1,500 participants in 1994 and has grown to become one of the top 10 marathons in the nation. This year’s race and two preliminary races are expected to attract nearly 37,000 participants.

Axia Time, based in Warren, N.J., was founded by John Kanaras. Its watches are designed in the United States and crafted in Switzerland. The brand’s clients and partners are primarily in college sports and include the Naismith Awards, the Tewaaraton Award and the College Football Playoffs, along with custom timepieces for more than 50 universities. This year, Axia partnered with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
