Built on AXIA’s 38 mm ENOSI design, the Official Timepiece brings together the history of the marathon, the identity of Philadelphia, the significance of America’s 250th anniversary, and the personal details of each runner’s race.

Dial

A blue dial draws from the Philadelphia Marathon’s red, white, and blue identity.

“Marathon 490 BC” connects the watch to the origin of the race, while “Philadelphia 2026” marks this year’s finish and the city where it happened.

Marathon logo

The Philadelphia Marathon logo appears in silver at the 12 o’clock position. 

America250 logo

The America250 logo on the dial at the 6 o’clock position marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. 

In Philadelphia, America’s birthplace, the detail connects the 2026 race to a defining milestone for the city and nation.

Crown

The Liberty Bell on the crown places one of Philadelphia’s most enduring symbols at a detail the wearer will see and touch.

The screw-down crown is as stylish as it is functional, acting as the primary seal to ensure professional-grade water resistance of up to 100 meters. This engineering translates to extreme durability, protecting the movement from the elements.

Caseback

The engraved caseback features the race map and space for the runner’s name, bib number, and finish time, or another message of meaning.

A Greek key pattern encircles the design, connecting the watch to the Greek origins of the marathon and AXIA’s own heritage.

Bracelet/Strap

Purchasers will receive both a metal bracelet and color-matched rubber strap.

Crafted from solid 316L stainless steel, the bracelet combines rugged utility with refined elegance, built to transition effortlessly from formal occasions to everyday wear.

Anchoring the watch is a precision-engineered clasp featuring the Philadelphia Marathon logo, equipped with a micro-adjusting system and tool-free quick-release pins that guarantee an exact, custom fit throughout the day.

From Marathon, Greece to Philadelphia

The marathon traces its origin to 490 BC, when a runner carried word of victory from Marathon to Athens. AXIA is the Greek word for worth, a fitting name for a company built around what an achievement truly means.

AXIA founder John Kanaras first learned that lesson at the University of Pennsylvania. After his lacrosse team reached the 1988 NCAA Final Four, the commemorative watch they received felt disconnected from the significance of the experience. Years later, he created AXIA to make something better.

Yes. We refund your deposit minus the credit card processing fee, and the amount of that fee comes back to you as store credit toward a future AXIA purchase. If your caseback has already been engraved, a USD $75 fee also applies to replace the engraving.

We can engrave your name and bib number, or another message, without a time. Or let us know before engraving and we'll cancel your order. We refund your deposit minus the credit card processing fee, and the amount of that fee comes back to you as store credit.

Yes. You can return your watch within 30 days of receiving it, as long as it's unworn and in its original packaging with proof of purchase. Because every caseback is engraved, a USD $75 fee covers replacing the engraving. Once we've inspected the watch, your refund goes to your original payment method within 10 business days. Yes. The timepiece uses a Swiss Made Sellita SW200 automatic movement. It is powered by the motion of the wearer’s wrist and does not require a battery.

The ENOSI case is 38 mm, a versatile size designed to work across a wide range of wrists.

Purchasers will receive a metal bracelet and a color-matched rubber strap.

The first 250 pieces will be individually numbered. You will be able to select your numbered edition upon checkout (based on number availability).
